The resolution calls upon “all Leon County Democrats to rally behind Senator Barack Obama and reclaim America’s dream by electing him as the 44th President of the United States of America.”
“Democrats throughout the country have experienced the most engaging primary season in recent memory. But now that the Democratic Party has its presumptive nominee, we must all band together and support Sen. Barack Obama,” said Leon County DEC Chair Rick Minor. “Eight years of Republican rule have left this country in shambles, and putting America back on track is all-important.”
The Leon County Democratic Executive Committee’s resolution is attached.
