Join us at Tom Brown Park for
Tallahassee's Fourth of July 'Celebrate
America'
event! With more than 30,000 people coming for
the music, food, and the BEST
fireworks in North Central Florida, this will
be an excellent opportunity for
Obama volunteers to get the word out! And what
better way to celebrate the birth
of our nation than to help us CHANGE it?
We'll be passing out lapel stickers, registering voters, and talking with folks about electing Barack Obama! Our Leon Democratic Party tent will be set up by 2:00pm and we'll need volunteers in one-hour shifts until about 7:00pm. When you sign up, please tell us in the "Comments" section what times you can help.
NOTE: At 6pm, Bud Light presents a free concert with The Georgia Satellites and the Atlanta Rhythm Section. The highlight of the evening, of course, will be the spectacular fireworks show at 9:30pm, sponsored by the City of Tallahassee.
