A message from the Leon DEC chair Larry Simmons

Welcome,

I would like to personally welcome our Democratic constituency, supporters, and those who are seeking information about our organization.

 Starting now and throughout the election cycle in 2010, we hope to be able to inform, educate, inspire, and mobilize Democratic voters towards greater community involvement and positive political action within Leon County.

 2010 should be extremely important to every Democratic voter in our country, simply because President Barack Obama needs the support of Congressional, Gubernatorial, State, and local officials to advance the CHANGE agenda.

 In Florida, we have an opportunity to elect a Democrat as Governor in Alex Sink and other strong candidates for Congressional, State, and local races. As we gear up for the 2010 midterm election, I am calling on Leon County DEC members, registered Democratic voters, students, Democratic Caucuses, Clubs, and community groups that share our Democratic values to join us for another historic election year. Let's Do It Again in 2010!
